Is skateboarding a sport. Considered one of the so called extreme sports skateboarding as a professional sport boasts a range of competitions including vertical and street style events. According to the tokyo 2020 olympic site this coming olympic games is the debut of this street sport. Skateboarding as a spectator sport has really ramped up the viewership of the x games. Many including myself define skateboarding as anything but that.

Competing at this level takes years of training and practice. Skateboarding has been shaped and influenced by many skateboarders throughout the years. Park and street and these events are different for men and women. The street skateboarding competitions will be held on 26 and 27 july 2020 and the park skateboarding competitions will be held on 5 and 6 august 2020. The park competition comprises two rounds.
